The Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is Investigating a Serious Injury Crash



Perry Township - The Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash, which occurred on September 11, 2017 at approximately 23 :25 PM. The crash occurred on Kemary Avenue north of Fohl Road in Perry Township, Stark County, Ohio.


Jamie M. Snyder-Wade, 34, of Navarre was operating a silver 2015 Land Rover Evoque southbound on Kemary Avenue. Mrs. Snyder-Wade lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. The vehicle then overturned several times before rolling into a creek ravine and coming to rest on its side.


The driver was ejected from the vehicle when it overturned.


Mrs. Snyder-Wade sustained serious life threatening injuries during the traffic crash. She was transported from the scene to Aultman Hospital by Perry Township EMS.


Mrs. Snyder-Wade was not wearing her safety belt at the time of the crash.


Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.


The crash remains under investigation.
