Stark County Sheriff’s
Office Arrests Burglary Suspect
Plain Township, Ohio – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate following the arrest of a burglary suspect Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday, March 25th at approximately 12:28 p.m. Deputies responded to a burglary in progress at 5735 Beverly Avenue Northeast in Plain Township.
Upon arrival, Deputies discovered the suspect had fled the scene. They continued to investigate and were able to locate the individual later identified as 32-year-old Steven Boggs of Alliance.
Boggs was arrested without incident on one count of Burglary, a Felony 2, and was booked into the Stark County Jail.
“Our deputies demonstrated their commitment to ensuring our citizens feel safe,” explained Stark County Sheriff George T. Maier. “Within hours of responding to this incident our deputies were able to locate and safely take the suspect into custody.”
